The Airport Rapid Transit Link is one of Moscow’s “Grand Projects” that are aimed to launch Russia into the 21st Century as a new world centre for trade and tourism. Passengers arriving at Sheremetievo Airport will swiftly proceed through 30 kilometres and six stations to a terminus at the business heart of the city near Moscow City Centre, a new 30 million square foot mixed use development, and Kutofsky Prospekt, the city’s prime address. VIA Architecture are the architects for SNC Lavalin who are responsible for the design and financing of this $Cdn 1.5 billion project for the Moscow City Government.
