BURRARD STATION AT DISCOVERY SQUARE
VANCOUVER, CANADA

The City wanted a park. The Province wanted a transit station. This was the climate within which the flagship SkyTrain station was conceived, in the heart of Vancouver’s business district.

Following the success of the initial SkyTrain transit system which was inaugurated in 1986, Baker McGarva Hart has been given a leading role in the planning, system design and station architecture of the second SkyTrain line which is scheduled to be operational by the year 2001.
