This transit project in Malaysia involved the transition of the PUTRA LRT system from underground to elevated stations. Situated along the Klang River in downtown Kuala Lumpur, this station successfully integrated the newly elevated transit system through the creation of a market, a canal and embankment gardens with two focal "portals" to maintain daytime pedestrian connections to the business district and to support the night life amenity of the area's cafes and theatres.
