ROUNDHOUSE NEIGHBOURHOOD Within the framework established by the Official Development Plan, VIA Architecture were commissioned, with Downs / Archambault and Don Vaughn Ltd., to carry out the rezoning for Parcel 2 of the former Expo 89 site, the Roundhouse Neighbourhood. This waterfront promontory which is at the heart of Pacific Place includes over 1000 dwelling units in eight high-rise and low rise developments, 20,000 sq. ft. of commercial space as well as the adaptive re-use of the historic CPR Roundhouse as a community centre.
