VIA Architecture has extensive experience in the area of innovative and cost effective renovations, additions, restorations, and seismic upgrade of heritage buildings. Our rapport and constructive dialogue with City departments has been important to our success, as has diligence in the technical aspects of construction and code compliance. We have received City of Vancouver Heritage Awards for our restoration of Heritage Hall, the 1910 Exchange Building (Sam the Record Man), and St. John’s Shaughnessy Anglican Church, and Roundhouse Community & Cultural Centre. Our work on the Interior of St. John’s also earned our firm the 1992 Interior Designers Institute Award of Excellence and we have recently finished the renovation and upgrade of the 30,000 sq. ft. St. John’s Parish Hall. |
