The Desert Willow Resort Hotel Village is a two phase development comprising the hotel as phase 1 and the resort as phase 2. The site is adjacent to the Club Intrawest Project at Palm Desert and in addition to 200 hotel rooms and 600 rooms in villas and casitas, the project contains a conference centre, spa, golf course and clubhouse, tennis centre, retail, restaurants, and parking.

VIA Architecture completed the programming and comprehensive master plan for Intrawest Corp. in 1997 and the site was subsequently sold to Hilton in 1998.
