To shift from the proposed office use for Burrard
Landing and prepare for expansion to the Trade and Convention Centre, VIA
was hired by Marathon Developments to lead a new rezoning process
for this 2 million sq. ft. development project and to design the
Convention Hotel.
The overall precinct includes live/work, office,
retail and cultural uses in addition to hotel and convention centre
uses. Within the precinct our flagship hotel project of 800 rooms will
demarcate the connection of the heart of downtown to the deep water
cruise ship harbour.
