Matthew Roddis is motivated by the creation of places that enable discovery-spaces and places that allow people to find something unique at each visit. He spent significant time exploring and drawing the most urban of all European cities, Barcelona, where he learned more about urban design and imagining than in all his years at school. Though Matthew still has more brown hair than gray, he's had a hand in a number of key urban design projects around the city of Vancouver. He is a LEED-accredited professional, particular about his drawing pens, and a very different person after a couple of pints of Guinness. An ex-formula racecar driver, Matthew now travels at a slightly slower pace in the family car. His children are his most creative project yet.
