Greg Ball


Greg is an award-winning senior architect with experience as a designer and project manager for a wide range of projects in public transportation, building architecture, and urban planning and design. His 30 years of experience include 15 years of design of light rail stations and airport terminals, including ten Skytrain stations (Vancouver), eight Link Light Rail stations (Seattle), and major expansions of the domestic and international terminals at Vancouver BC International Airport.

Favorite Project & Why

Evergreen Line – The project provided VIA with a rare opportunity to influence the location an urban integration of the six initial stations and to shape their design and specifications for Design Build delivery.

I particularly enjoy the engagement with the process of planning and building projects that contribute significantly to the character and life of the city.

Favorite Thing to Do

Kayaking on Lake Union in Seattle, sailing in English Bay, and ‘Theatresports’ on Granville Island in Vancouver.
