Favorite Project & Why

Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv – A fascinating and complex project with many stakeholders, and a design team spread around the globe. The project provided an opportunity to examine the vital importance of a transportation hub as civic architecture and as a gateway to the community; it also presented the challenge of creating a cutting-edge transportation facility that nonetheless reinforces a sense of place amid an ancient culture with a distinctive vernacular architecture.

Favorite Thing About Your Job

I love the complex problem-solving aspect of design; working a complex problem with a talented team, and step-by-step, developing a unique design solution tailored to a particular location/community.

Favorite Thing to Do

Traveling to new places. I absolutely love seeing new places and getting to experience different cultures and perspectives.
