Favorite Project & Why

427 9th Avenue. The scale and massing of this project brings out the best in what urban living is about. The random patterning of the exterior glass wall will produce a different visual effect than just another glass building wall. This is what inspires my work, creating a devise built environment that challenges you to experience light, color and space in new ways.

Favorite Thing About Your Job

Helping staff resolve technical problems. I spend a lot of time thinking of new ways to introduce new innovative products / materials into our projects and how they can be used effectively to enhance the design as well as increase the overall value of the space.

Favorite Thing to Do

Walk to the Market for some fresh fruit and watch a few salmons fly. Then down to the waterfront for some quiet reflection looking out over Puget Sound to the Olympic Mountains.

Three Things You Can't Live Without

My hands, my eyes, and my imagination, to create wonderful things to inspire people to slow down for just a moment and think of what could be.
