VIA is currently working on the design of a new $12.5 million bus transfer facility and park and ride that will have a spacious passenger platform and is expected to accommodate 12 bus routes, 8 bus layover bays, 400 car parking spaces and 4,000 passengers per day.

Design and construction of the project was coordinated with construction of the new Burien town center, a hotel development project, and a TOD mixed-use project on the site of the current park and ride lot.
