VIA Architecture is one of the three firms comprising MOT's Owner's Engineer team for the planning and design of the Evergreen Line, an 11 km extension of Translink's SkyTrain system. In addition to being the project's architect and urban designer, VIA is collaborating with CH2M Hill on alignment definition and transit integration, and with Halcrow on ridership development.

The project's mandate is to instill a significant mode shift in the region's travel patterns, and to substantially contribute to Provincial GHG emissions and VKmT reduction targets, while being a catalyst for the development of more complete urban communities. The project has committed Federal and Provincial funding and is scheduled to commence operation in 2014.
