Chimacum, WA

The CDS has been providing design assistance to the Finn River Cidery since 2010. This 33-acre organic farm has been actively involved in the restoration of a salmon-bearing stream that passes through its property, and is currently seeking grant funding for construction of the "Chum Hut" in conjunction with the North Olympic Salmon Coalition. The VIA-designed hut will provide a sheltered gathering place for groups visiting the site, as well as a place for interpretive displays.
