VIA, partnered with Tom Fletcher & Co, produced a comprehensive development plan for a moderate-density community aimed at housing a socially and economically diverse population. The Plan prioritizes smart growth principles, setting a precedent for the City of Vernon in terms of sustainable development. Community consultation, a cornerstone of the project, was emphasized at the early planning stages and continued throughout the design process.
