This project for the North Kitsap School District seeks to develop a one-acre site associated with the Spectrum Community School, an alternative high school located in Kingston. The project goal is to create a working farm that will support the school's science curriculum, as well as providing food for the school meal program. The program also includes development of community garden patches currently not available in the North Kitsap area. VIA's work includes site planning and evaluation of two donated greenhouses intended to be relocated to the new farm site.
