The original small wooden church, built in 1929, was added to in 1957 and in 1968. VIA prepared a master plan that scheduled several phases of expansion and renovation to the existing church and church hall. The new courtyard created by these changes integrated the intersecting geometry of the original church with that of the parish hall; creating an indoor/outdoor space for parish life that thoughtfully respects the wooded setting of the church.
