Contracted by the Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club, VIA Architecture is designing a new 15,000 seat waterfront stadium. Built above the existing Canadian Pacific Railway tracks adjacent to Waterfront Station, the stadium will be the most transit friendly in North America. Access will be available to non-motorized options, light rail, commuter rail, ferry and busses.

The project has dealt with complex negotiations with environmental regulations, future development rights, transit agencies, views and public access to achieve the best fit.
