427 9th Avenue Tower
VIA provided full design services for this mid-block infill site which features a skinny tower floor plate of 7,200 square feet on a low four-story podium, which is a unique building typology in Seattle. The project takes full advantage of the new zoning capacity and the public benefits incentives recently put in place. The tower form and placement embrace fantastic views in three directions. The top floor features a roof garden with generous tenant amenity space, a restaurant space incorporated with the resident lobby, and other amenities to anchor the ground level, such as sidewalk widening for sidewalk cafes, bike parking, and landscaping.
