BB6 Residential Towers
Seattle, WA
VIA Architecture provided architectural design services for BB6 at 2326 Sixth Avenue, a twin tower residential development that occupies a full acre in the Denny Triangle neighborhood in downtown Seattle.
The challenge was to find the contextually appropriate fit for 1000 residential apartments among four adjacent towers. VIA worked with City planners and the Design Review Board to create two slender, distinct 41-story towers that create a neighborly composition and elegantly embrace an active ground plane. The”proscenium” frame composition at Bell Street expresses the multi-floor mix of uses, as well as, welcomes the theater of city life into the interior.
VIA Architecture was the design architect for this project.
