Revel Issaquah Senior Housing
Issaquah, WA
The Revel Issaquah Senior Housing development is designed as a single five-story building with 146 residential units and associated services for an independent living senior facility. The six-acre site is located in western Issaquah, sloping down from the road to Schneider Creek, which has been restored with enhanced landscaping buffers and connections to the neighboring development, Anthology.
The building consists of two wings whose axes run parallel to the site contours and step with the slope. The north wing is four stories of senior residential units over a single-story parking structure and an indoor pool area. The south wing consists of five stories of senior residential units. The wings are connected by a community center including the lobby, dining, exercise facilities, and support spaces. The building entry plaza is located on a new, more person-oriented neighborhood street, providing site access and connectivity to adjacent neighborhoods. With 110 parking stalls, including 78 surface stalls and 32 located within a parking structure below the housing units, accessing this new senior living development is made simple and unobtrusive.
